The Siux Astra Control 2026 is the control model in the Siux Astra range: a round racket with a low balance, made for intermediate and developing players who want precise, forgiving play.
The faces are 3K fibreglass over a Soft EVA core. Siux rates the feel at 4 out of 10, so the racket is soft at impact and absorbs vibration, which keeps it comfortable on the arm through long sessions.
The round head gives a sweet spot of 112 cm², and the low balance keeps the weight close to your hand, so the racket is quick to move on volleys and blocks at the net.
A gloss and sandy finish on the faces adds grip on the ball for slice and topspin. On Siux's own scale the Astra Control scores 9.5 for control and 9.4 for manoeuvrability, against 5.6 for power. It suits players who build points with placement more than players looking for power on overheads.
The Astra Hybrid and Astra Hybrid Air are teardrop rackets with a medium balance, so the Astra Control is the only round, low-balance racket of the three.
